Ten Shots has been awarded “Best Thriller Short” at Atlanta Horror Film Festival and tied for first place as “Best Horror Short” at the Academy Award-qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival!
Congratulations to writer/director Gordon Shoemaker and all of the team who worked so very hard to pull off this dialogue-free psychological thriller! I’m really proud to have been part of it.
In fact, not only did I get to write the film’s tense, moody score, but it was also my first appearance in front of the camera: I play the first guy who gets shot by the main character. After that, I spent the rest of the filming day on location - that location being face-down in the dirt. What a claim to fame!
Well, at any rate, I don’t think I’ll be making a career in acting any time soon ;)
